Open Enrollment for 2017 coverage is over. But you may still have options to get health coverage.
You may qualify for Oregon Health Plan. You can do this any time, all year. If you qualify you can enroll immediately. Qualification for OHP is based on residency, income, and/or those who are elderly, sight impaired, disabled, pregnant or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits.
You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period that allows you to buy a private health plan through the Marketplace.
If you don't qualify for the Oregon Health Plan or have a qualifying event you can still get Short Term Medical insurance.
Please note: Short Term Medical coverage is not a replacement for ACA mandated health insurance. It is solely meant as temporary coverage to provide you some financial peace of mind until you are able to enroll for ACA qualified coverage.
